Student of the Silence, Servant of the Sound
My journey began with a deep love for music and a natural empathy for others. I honed my skills by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy from Utah State University, while also minoring in art and psychology.
Growing up an outdoorsman in Utah mountains and desert, I draw upon my experience as a guide for Wilderness therapy treatment programs for teens, integrating elements of nature and mindfulness into my sessions. This unique blend of disciplines informs my holistic approach to healing, where I recognize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.
Beyond the Notes
My eclectic approach expands traditional methods. I incorporate a variety of instruments and the soulful melodies of client-preferred music to create a rich container of exploration. Depending on the group and setting, the sessions include meditations, guided imagery with music, drumming, songwriting, improvisation, and lyric analysis.
Weaving together musical talent, therapeutic expertise, and passion for the healing power of sound, I integrate a unique and powerful approach to well-being.
