Using music to help individuals tap into their potential and to catalyze growth

What I Offer

  • A Path to Wholeness

Whether you are navigating a crisis, moving through a transition, seeking emotional support, or a deeper connection to your inner self, I offer a safe and nourishing space for exploration and transformation. These sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals, helping you tap into your own innate capacity for healing and growth.

  • What do individual sessions look like?

As a traveling therapist, I serve clients across the San Francisco Bay Area in homes and treatment facilities, with my accompanying guitar and speaker. The treatment is relationship based, with the goals designed towards the individual for creative expression and self empowerment. Goals are addressed within the therapeutic relationship, which may be focused on communication, cognitive, emotional, physical, psychological, and social needs. When clinically appropriate, I work with the parents and caregiver involvement. I offer both 1:1 and group sessions virtually through telehealth for those out of the Bay Area.

  • What is the difference between a music lesson and a music therapy session?

I offer adaptive music lessons, designed for children, adolescents, and adults who have unique emotional challenges or learning differences. The lessons are interactive and developmentally-based, so that the experience fosters a sense of success and self-empowerment. I have expertise and extensive instrument resources related to piano, guitar, voice, upright bass, hand drums and percussion, songwriting and music theory.

  • What do group sessions look like?

Growing up in choirs and singing in the home, I cherish the experience of harmonizing with others to establish a sense of family. My wellness-based music sessions are inspired by this philosophy that all ages and abilities can contribute and benefit from joining in the music. Group sessions are designed to reduce anxiety and stress as well as improve self-confidence and healing within a community container, contributing to greater fulfillment and quality of life.
